6:00 - 9:00 pm
Lake Pearl Ballroom, Wrentham MA
All year, WSN members and guests generously donate to our monthly raffle and other fundraising activities in support of our annual scholarship fund. Now we celebrate by dispersing the funds we have raised and awarding scholarships to women who want to advance or change their careers through education and training.
The June meeting is extraordinary, and often a favorite WSN event each year. It is at this meeting where the WSN Founders’ Scholarship program awards are handed out to deserving women of non-traditional student age. This meeting is the culmination of a two-month application process, followed by thorough application review, and in-person interviews conducted by the Scholarship Committee. The committee goal is to identify those in most need of financial support in meeting their educational goals.
WSN’s efforts are matched by our generous partners Dean College and Fisher College, who also provide two free classes to Scholarship recipients attending their institution.
Our theme this year has been “The Power of You.” Join us in helping our scholarship awardees show their power, while we cap off our year of both networking and giving back to the community. Join us on Wednesday, June 6th and be prepared to be inspired by the personal stories each of the scholarship recipients will share. Don’t miss this highlight of the year! But bring some tissues - it promises to be an enjoyable and emotional evening.
Reserve your spot. Sign up here by Friday, May 25. Registration closes Monday, May 28th.

6:00 - 9:00 pm
Franklin Country Club, Franklin MA
Communication and presentation skills are incredibly important to being successful in business, wouldn’t you agree? With her experience as a former TV news reporter and videographer, Meaghan Corson takes the mystery and effort out of creating videos for your business. Join us April 4 at the Franklin Country Club for an interactive presentation where you’ll learn when to do-it-yourself (DIY) and when to go with the professionals. You’ll also get quick tips on how to produce a video with your smartphone so that you’re ready to shoot your first video.
Speaking across the US (and soon in other countries) on video marketing and on-camera performance, Meaghan provides both keynotes and workshops. She educates both executives and business owners on how to use video confidently and efficiently. She gives concrete techniques and action steps, so you walk away with not just ideas for your video strategy, but with tangible results.
Aside from helping her clients with video, Meghan is passionate about empowering young people to pursue their dreams and setting them up for success for when they enter the "real world." Too often college and university students focus on getting a job to just pay the bills and are bogged down by their student debt. Through her personal story as a millennial, she shares techniques on personal branding and networking that overcome stereotypes. Encourage your college students and graduates to hear this special message.
Please register by Friday, March 23 here.. Online registration closes 3/26/18.
